Proper Diet For Your Dog For A Long and Healthy Life

The dietary regimen is an important aspect of survival. The objective of dietary management is to meet the basic nutritional requirements of the individual dog with proper portions of protein, carbohydrates and fat in a well-balanced diet that will promote optimal body weight.

Generally, these dietary regimens are employed to human beings. However, with the growing fondness to dogs, most dog owners and veterinarians recommed that dietary regimen should likewise be implemented on dogs.

Like humans, dogs need the right combination of the basic food groups in order to have a healthy life span. Dogs also need to be regulated on the kinds of foods that they eat or else they would end up being obese as well.

Included in the dog’s dietary regimen are the proper minerals and vitamins. These essential health items should be well incorporated into the dogs daily needs in order to have a healthy body. With poper minerals, and vitamins, dogs will be abel to maintain shiny, healthy-looking coat. For people who want to know how to prepare the right diet for their dogs, here are some tips to guide you through them.

*Meat should not only be the only food incorporated in the dog’s diet.

*Dogs need minerals and vitamins. These are needed to maintain the luster and shine in their coats and to provide them with

healthy gums and teeth.

*Real Meal Treats. It is best for the dog owners to include their dogs in their meal planning. With real food, dogs will be able to generate the needed nutrients their body’s need.

*Mixed Foods. Giving a dog a variety of foods, nutritional value, and texture are the real diet meal dogs really need. So, go ahead and mix the dry food along with the moist food.

*Greens. A well balanced diet for dogs includes green leafy vegtables. Even if dogs are carnivours by nature, they also need the right amount of greens to provide them with additional nutrients that are only available in green leafy foods.

Best of all, dog owners should always consult their dog’s veterinarians especially on things like health and diet supplements for their dogs.

Dogs like humans, should not be fed with junk foods like sugary, sweet, soda. These will only make them fat without the needed nutrients. Stay away from CHOCOLATE, it is considered as poison to your dog as well as your cat.

A Little Bit About The Pomeranian

This is dog is occasionally referred to as the Miniature Spitz dog or European Spitz. In its native land of Germany it is the smallest member of the German Spitz group. The Pomeranian is also sometimes called the German Spitz in Germany.

In Germany the Pomeranian was bred to its present size in Pomeranian during the nineteenth century. Its ancestors were of the Spitz type and larger. Among the Pomeranian’s ancestors are the Samoyed, Norwegian Elkhound, Chow Chow and other northern European breeds. It is possible that the Pomeranian was reduced in size from the large white sled dog that originated in Iceland and Lapland. Exact time of origin is unknown. Queen Victoria of England took a great liking to the Pomeranian and helped to increase its popularity in her palace in 1888.

Other Spitz types were used as herding dogs and sled pullers. The Pomeranian, however, has always been a lapdog. It came to America in the late nineteenth century and was shown in the miscellaneous class in 1892 by the AKC. American Kennel Club recognized the Pomeranian officially in 1900. Since that time he has become quite popular as a pampered little pet.

Personality

The Pomeranian is sometimes a little too courageous for its own good. He serves well as an alarm dog, but its barking sometimes becomes a habit that needs to be discouraged. The Pomeranian has one primary purpose and that is to please its owners. It sometimes shies away from children that play too rough. The Pomeranian may not be a good choice for a household with children or as a child’s pet. They socialize easily with cats and other small family pets.

The Pomeranian is definitely one of those big dogs in a little package. They usually won’t back down from a much larger dog. This aggressiveness can be self-destructive as obviously a bigger dog could make mince meat of a tiny Pomeranian.

The Pomeranian is eager to learn and is devoted to its family. He is affectionate and has a very loving nature toward its own family. He is delightful and is always ready for a quick game with those he loves.

The Pomeranian responds to command if they are consistently given and he is rewarded with edible treats or kind words. The Pomeranian has a tendency to become somewhat of a “spoiled brat.” When his bad habits surface he may simply ignore commands to “act better.” He is rarely seen in agility trials; however, the Pomeranian does well in obedience trials.

Appearance

A Pomeranian stands about 7 to 8 inches tall and weighs from 3 to 7 pounds. The tiny Pomeranian has a short body, straight legs and well-balanced overall appearance. He has erect ears and a fox like expression that gives this little dog an alert expression. Pigmentation of the nose, lips and eyelids are always dark, usually black.

The Pomeranian’s coat is double and profuse. Acceptable colors are red, orange, cream and sable, black, brown and blue.

Grooming the Pomeranian

The coat of a Pomeranian is made up of an undercoat and an outer coat. The undercoat is soft and fluffy. The outer coat is fairly long, straight and harsh and covers the entire body.

There is an abundance of coat around the neck and the fore part of the shoulders and chest that forms a frill that extends over the shoulder. The forequarters are well feathered and the thighs and hind legs are well feathered to the hocks.

The Pomeranian requires regular attention to keep it clean and attractive. Thorough brushing once a week is required to keep the coat in good condition.

You will need a slicker/pin brush, medium-tooth metal comb, scissors and cotton buds.

Brush against the lie of the coat to give the Pomeranian its round pompom appearance. Brush first with the slicker/pin brush working from the top of the head, layering the hair as you go and be sure you reach the skin level. Then work through the coat with the comb to remove any tangles left behind from the brushing.

You might consider using a dry bath on your Pomeranian’s coat when in full coat. When the Pomeranian is in full coat, use a suitable pH-alkaline-balanced shampoo and rinse well.

Benefits of Training With a Wing Chun Wooden Dummy

Most people have probably seen a wooden dummy before. There is a famous scene in “Rumble in the Bronx” where Jackie Chan uses one in the beginning of the movie. But even though Jackie Chan’s moves on the dummy are flashy and impressive, there is much more to using a dummy than just looking cool.

Wooden dummies (”mook yan jong” in Chinese), while primarily found in Wing Chun kung fu, can generally be adapted to any martial art style. The advantages that wooden dummies provide are numerous, and are not limited to:

Developing a powerful structure: When you strike the solid dummy you receive instant feedback regarding your structure. If your strike was solid and true and with good structure, you will feel the power transfer from your body into the dummy. If, for example, your wrist was at the wrong angle, you will receive negative feedback from the dummy.

Wooden dummies are available to train 24/7: Regardless of if you always train at the same time every day or if you train at odd times, a dummy is always available as opposed to doing drills with a partner where you don’t have to set up a time that works for both of you. Another advantage to this is that wooden dummies can be used throughout the day, too; Perhaps you are going to train a specific technique every time you walk past your dummy, or every hour for the entire day (to build central nervous system efficiency, also known as “muscle memory” or “greasing the groove”). It would be difficult to find a training partner who would agree to that regimen!

Building power: While a dummy does not necessarily have to be used with full power, there is nothing wrong with doing so. Over time, as you build your speed and power on the dummy, you will eventually begin to develop tangible power in your strikes, which leads to the next point:

Building confidence: When you are able to strike with great force, and you know that you are able to strike with great force, your fighting ability will increase exponentially. The difference between being able to perform a powerful technique in the air and knowing that you can perform a powerful technique against resistance such as a dummy without getting injured is extremely empowering.

If you decide that your training would benefit from a wooden dummy, there are some things you should keep in mind as you shop for a dummy:

The body must be between 8.5 and 9.5 inches in diameter. The reason for this is to allow the upper arms to be placed at the correct angle. Any narrower than this and they will be too close together; any wider and they will be too far apart.

The arms: The upper arms must be set at the same angle. Some dummies have upper limbs where one is resting 1 or 2 inches above the other one. This is incorrect as it will develop imbalances in your techniques. On a properly made dummy, the arms will have offset shanks allowing the arms to rest at the same height despite the holes in the body being at different heights.

Training with a wooden dummy is an effective way to improve your technique, your power, and your confidence. Although it is traditionally used by Wing Chun styles, any style of martial arts can adapt its techniques to the dummy.

If you decide that purchasing a wooden dummy is out of your price range, it is possible to build one for a fraction of the cost. Here is a book describing in step by step detail how to do just that: Guide to Wooden Dummy Construction.

Swiss Tradition in Black and White - Book Review

In total, 126 pages of information await readers interested in the Bernese Mountain Dog, a canine originally from Switzerland. Swiss Tradition In Black and White is a non-fiction guide that is written for both pet owners and dog breeders alike. The author, Marlies Bugman, did a good job in ensuring every aspect of the species is covered in her book.

Twenty-eight chapters in total, the book is broken into three sections for easy referral and are accompanied by several photographs of the author and her dogs.

Part 1 embarks with the humble beginnings of the Bernese Mountain Dog, as a farm and herd animal, and follows the breed’s eventual rise to Pedigreed Status. Mrs. Baker discusses the dog’s global recognition and how careless breeders cause unnecessary suffering and harm. The author also offers advice on how to support breeders that care about perpetuating a strong and healthy species for future generations.

Part 2 shows readers the right way to consider the dog that is right for you and what to do upon brining a puppy home. Information for owners to begin socializing the animal is discussed. Also, the author makes sure owners understand the immunization requirements. Basic advice on grooming, necessary exercise and training are also provided. I found the chapter on feeding quite interesting. The breed’s growing habits, along with potential health threats and hereditary disorders, are also discussed.

Part 3 delves much deeper into the official standards for breeding the dog. Finally, the book closes with Appendix sections that include a copy of official standards, offer a list of references used in the writing of the book and provide pages to record worming and inoculation schedules, training courses and personal notes.

Ultimate Money Maker or Ultimate Scam? My review of Ultimate Wealth Package

So you’ve heard about Mark Warren’s Ultimate Wealth Package and you want to know if it can make you money.

Most likely, the reason why you’re here is to receive an opinion from someone who has used this product.

Before you get started, you should know that you will not make money overnight. Ultimate Wealth Package is not a get rich quick scheme and they don’t claim to be. Success with package will take time and effort. There is a learning curve to this system and your success will depend on how hard you work at it.

Lets start with the good points:

Ultimate Wealth Package offers in-depth insight into the world of affiliate marketing. It covers everything from creating ad campaigns and maintaining customer loyalty through opt-in lists. For those who are just entering the field, Ultimate Wealth Package is an information gold mine. The package shows you step by step how to build up your online business. They even include a free website with their package.

As an added bonus, Ultimate Wealth Package packs a ton of extra goodies, especially for those who opt for the VIP package. Among these bonuses are over 100 extra e-books (covering a wide variety of topics on how to make money online), software packages, and audio interviews with marketing experts. UWP even offers 24 hour, toll-free phone support, a feature that I have not seen with any other wealth package.

Unfortunately, UWP is far from perfect:

While Ultimate Wealth Package offers a free website, it’s only for beginners. The site is ill-suited for applying Mark Warren’s more advanced strategies and you drop it once you’re ready to go to the next level.

Probably the worst part of Ultimate Wealth Package is the expectations. Mark Warren has really shot himself in foot with this one folks. He pads his website with tons of stories of people making lots of money quick. This won’t happen for most people. Don’t be surprised if it takes a while for you to start earning an income. As I said earlier, success will take time and effort.

So what’s the verdict?

Ultimate Wealth Package receives my full recommendation. The strategies it preaches can be used by both novices and experts. After using this product, you might realize that you don’t like internet marketing. If that’s the case, simply exercise UWP’s 60 day money-back guarantee.

Just to let you know, prepare to learn a lot. Ultimate Wealth Package gave me my start in affiliate marketing and 2 days after buying it, I felt like my brain was going to explode. There was just so much information!! My advice to novices: don’t get overwhelmed and discouraged. Just continue to practice Mark Warren’s techniques and eventually, you’ll get the hang of it.

Besides working part-time in affiliate marketing, Daniel Gruda is also an IT professional who recently returned from Britain after teaching Information Technology. Making Money from Google Adsense

There is nothing more rewarding than receiving the check of hard earned money. You must have seen thousands upon thousands of online testimonies of how they ‘got rich’ from Google Adsense and how they make thousands per week. Some of these stories are not entirely false.

The main secret behind making money from Google Adwords/Adsense program is content. There is no shortcut. Content is the first step behind any successful money making website. Of course, there is SEO-ing, but content is what drives the potential customers to your site. How much you are willing to invest will determine how much you will make per month, but it is possible to make money without spending a dime.

First of all, you will need a website. Assuming your content will be purely textual (since Google spiders crawl on text/keywords), you may either get a domain and hosting or choose to post to a blog, or you could sign up for free ad-supported website. It is recommended that if you plan on making money from your website, you ought to get a website with your own domain name, after all, ad supported hosting defeats the purpose of your money making; plus, you want your website to appear as professional and less congested as possible.

Now that you have a website, the next step is getting content for your site, but we’ll get to that at the end of this article.

Now that you have a domain name and a niche, you will have to sign up for the Google Adwords Program. Note that Google Adwords enables you to get paid for advertising and Google Adsense is when you will have to pay for advertising.

Now that you have your domain with efficient hosting, and your Adwords account, you will need to build your site. If you are already a site-creating guru, then you are a step ahead. If not, creating your content site is not purely throwing out HTML pages. Sooner or later, content is going to keep growing and you may either get an efficient content manager or get hired help.

Traffic makes the difference between you making money or you not getting a dime. In order to get traffic, you can either optimize your website or get traffic by spamming. Now, remember that spamming will not get you repeat visitors, and will give your business a very bad reputation, plus, spamming may cost your website not to be listed on search engines, and Google has the right, under the ‘Terms and Conditions’ to revoke your Adwords account. You definitely do not want to start from scratch.

Traffic can come by word of mouth and efficient SEO-ing. SEO is an enormously broad topic that ranges from content, link popularity, link exchanges, keywords, web description, etc., to website rankings and so on. In order to remain on the top of your niche, you will need to always want your customers coming back. In order to keep that traffic flowing, you will need to keep content coming fresh and keeping your site constantly optimized and up to date. You will need to be aware of most common spider crawling techniques and use it to your advantage.

Another most common made mistake in getting website content free and cheap is to copy other websites or repeat the same information (if you have more than one money-making site). This is a bad move! Search engines will see this duplicate content as spam and remove it from searched results. Also, if you copy and paste content that is not yours and/or of public domain you will be infringing copyright. Copyright infringement is a crime.

As far as content goes, you can hire help to write articles or you can conveniently buy articles in bulk. Bulk articles are normally distributed by renowned companies and usually are more cost-efficient. Bulk content is also good if you are thinking of expanding your site. A renowned company that can help you with content and marketing strategies is the Myrdhinn’s Marketing Madness. There are thousands of articles in different niches and since it’s from a trustworthy company, you can always return for new quality content.

Remember that signing up for Google Adwords is free. If your website gets rejected at first, don’t worry. Just build your site and re-apply. As long as your website is legitimate and is not an ‘about-me’ site, you are more than likely to get approved. Plus, having an Adwords account opens you to the Google community and you can increase your PageRank dramatically.

Good luck on your first check!

Six Pack - Make the Most of Your Training

There have been numerous instances wherein the concept of a six pack was given a run for it money. The reason was the lack of knowledge about a six pack development. This often led to unnecessary stress and depression and the six pack goal was never really achieved. In order to avoid such a scenario, you need to understand the importance of developing a suitable abdominal wall without having to loose out on your precious time and money.

Six Pack-The Impact Of A Complete Fitness Program

While trying to develop their stomach muscles, people often forget that the abdominal muscle is in reality an extension of your overall muscle group. You need to understand that in order to develop your muscles; you need to be able to tone the other body parts in an equally important fashion. If your remaining muscle groups are toned, the abdominals would automatically start to shape on their own. To give them a better shape, you can simply try and isolate them through certain specified exercises.

The Importance Of Large And Small Muscle Groups

Another important feature which needs immediate mention is the impact of both the large as well as small muscle groups in the overall development of your abdominal muscle. It is very important to note that while most are easy to develop and simple to build, the major muscle groups such as the legs, back, chest and shoulders do not take time to develop. Likewise, the smaller muscle groups such as the abdominals, calves, bicep, triceps and forearms take a rather long while to get in shape. Over here, it is important to note that the larger muscle groups are directly responsible for the overall growth of the smaller muscle regions. The abdominals is also a major part of the smaller muscle groups.

Hi, I am Mark Morris and I am a fitness expert. I have a secret to share.

The Suggestion: To adopt a medically approved six pack abs program, which allows your body to convert excessive abdominal fat into rippled muscles.

Who Benefits: All those who have spent thousands of dollars on worthless over the counter products and wasted half their lives trying to regain the original shape of their abs.

How To Get It: Just click http://purelyfitness.com/vince-del-monte-fitness and get a chiseled six pack the natural way.

Earn Money on Google AdSense using these Three Proven Strategies

Google AdSense is a great program that Internet businesses can utilize to make money. If you want to earn a significant amount of money through Google AdSense then read on. You will learn three proven strategies that will optimize your Google AdSense earnings.

Following are three ways to make money using Google AdSense:

1. Add more messages in your email sequence that is driving customers to your website pages that have Google AdSense advertisements. Increasing the frequency of your email messages will provide more chances for Internet visitors to click on your Google AdSense advertisements.

2. Send out a mass email, solo broadcast. Send out an email to drive traffic to your website page that contains the Google AdSense advertisements. Increase the amount of subscribers you have on your list.

3. Increase the amount of money you earn from the advertisements. For example, certain keywords cost more money in Google Adwords. Therefore, you can write articles that contain these high value keywords. You will earn more money through Google AdSense with these higher quality keywords.

Another strategy you can use is to place the keywords in your Title tag. The first 250 words on your website is the second most important piece of information. Write a line then insert a double space. Place keywords in this space. Highlight the keywords so that it is white. This will cause the keywords to blend into the background. Do not use this for search engine marketing! It will hurt you in search engine optimization. It is only used to increase the price you earn from Google Advertisements. The Google spiders see these keywords. However, the human eye will not detect the keywords.

How do you find the high paying keywords? Use www.highpayingkeywords.com. This service provides you a quarterly listing of the high paying keywords. The service costs you money. However, it is a good investment because Google will not give information about the high paying keywords.

Tip: When you communicate with your list, you need to provide relevant content. Don’t just send poor content as filler. Don’t just send an article or email message to provide Google AdSense exposure. You need to provide content that is a benefit for your subscriber list.

How many emails should you send? You can send as many emails as you want. Sending out various emails is at your discretion. If you send out several emails per week it may annoy some of your subscribers. However, these subscribers can be deleted. You want to send out as many emails as you need because they are bound to bring in more orders for your product or service. Plus, it increases the amount of money you earn through Google AdSense if your subscribers click on the Google AdSense advertisements.

Teleseminars - 5 Ways to Excel at Teleseminars

Do you want your callers to feel well-informed after your teleseminars? Do you want to make them feel that attending your seminars was a time well spent? Do you want them to seriously consider doing business with you after they hung up? Then, get to know these ways on how you can excel at teleseminars:

1. Topic selection, research, and planning your content. These are the first three things that you need to do when launching your teleseminars. You’ve got to pick the most interesting topics within your chosen niche so you can attract more people to attend. Then, you will need to check out reputable sites and printed materials to obtain more information about your chosen topic. Lastly, you will need to properly plan your content to make sure that your seminars will sound well thought-out, organized, and very informative.

2. Pick the best schedule. To maximize the number of your participants, conduct your seminars when your potential clients are mostly available. If you are targeting people who have 9am-5pm jobs, you can schedule the call on weekends or during weeknights. It would also be a good idea if you can send your invitations at least 2 weeks ahead of time so your prospects can make time to attend.

3. Practice using your tools (ex. conferencing service). Before the actual teleseminar, invite some of your friends and family members for a trial run. Conduct your seminar as if you have your actual prospects on the other end of the line. Ask your trial participants to take note of their feedback and suggestions that can help in improving your content, delivery, and your overall presentation.

4. Call in early. Be the first one to call in so you can welcome your attendees as they come in. You can use the spare time to ask these people ahead of time about their concern or about the things that they would really like to know about. It will not also be a bad idea if you use the time in building personal relationship with these people.

5. Don’t make your seminars sound like home TV shopping. By this, I simply mean minimize the number of your sales pitches. You’ll increase your chances of making a sale if you earn the trust of your prospects first by giving them the kind of assistance and information they need.

Bad Internet Traffic - Does this Exist?

During my last 8 months of being an affiliate marketer, I have learned a lot of about making money online and I have become moderately successful at it, too. One of the most important lessons that I learned is that traffic equals sales! There are many fundamental rules about internet selling and one of those general rules of thumbs is that it is very likely that any respectable website can make 1-2 sales (at least) per 100 visitors. My visitor counts started off small, and I made a little bit of money. My visitor count is now “respectable” and I now make a “respectable” amount of money. But how far does this theory go and when does good traffic go bad?

Annecdote #1: About 3 months ago, I got an email from a very anger person stating that my website was nothing but a fraud due to the fact that they got my link from an adult website (why they were on this site in the first place is left to be seen!). I did some research on why my link was found on a certain website and I found that one of my content ads from Google had the line “Get Off Your Fanny…” I later learned that this rather tame word “fanny” has different meanings in other countries (we are talking about a global economy here!). This triggered an Adsense ad on an adult website. So my first point here is that you do not have control at times where your ad may appear in the world wide web! Secondly, do I care? In this case, I do to some degree. I do not really care that it came from an adult website. Traffic is traffic (even if someone may be upset with this). What I do care about is that I PAID for this click.

This is when good traffic goes bad! I did some careful research on the statistics of those who visited my website from this adult website. Sure enough, I received about 30 clicks at $0.10 a piece (a total of $3). Out of that $3, I received zero sales and additionally, 29 of those people “bounced” (meaning they stayed on my website for less than 5 seconds). This is not a good investment and I made sure that this site would no longer post my ad (and I did change the wording to remove “fanny” from the equation!).

Annecote #2: One common and highly publicized way of attracting traffic to one’s website is through free classified ads. The first time I did this, I was kind of shocked what I saw. My visitors to my website jumped to an additional 150 unique visitors per day (after the initial postings.) WOW! I then went and checked my sales: Zero additional sales. I went and researched my classified ad statistics and sure enough, about 145 of those visitors bounced. Does this make classified ads “bad traffic”.

It can, but not really! Remember this: these ads are free. And out of the 5 visitors that did stay on my website, I got two of them to sign-up for my opt-in letter. Ultimately, that means I paid zero dollars for each lead. That is definitely worth something. The biggest question here is time. How much is your time worth? To post classified ads requires time and (if you are strapped in time like I am), time is money. Further, this additional traffic hurts my visitors per sales statistics, but who cares! It is ROI (return on investment) that truly matters. The investment in this case is time, not money.

Traffic is currently king on the internet when it come to making sales. In my opinion, though, traffic only goes bad when you pay for it and it does not produce sales. All free traffic is good (no matter where it comes from). But beware, free traffic sometimes come at the cost of time. Is an hour of posting classified ads worth more than a new blog entry or a review of another product? That is a decision that you, the online marketer, must make yourself!
